ATAR Stress and Study Balance Test

The ATAR Stress and Study Balance Test helps Australian students understand how exam pressure, study demands, ATAR expectations, perfectionism, sleep disruption, and future uncertainty may be affecting their wellbeing.

This test is especially relevant for Year 11 and Year 12 students, including students preparing for HSC, VCE, QCE, SACE, WACE, or other senior secondary assessments.

The test measures six areas: exam anxiety, ATAR pressure, perfectionism and fear of failure, study-life imbalance, sleep and recovery disruption, and future uncertainty.

The test includes 36 questions and takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete. Your results will show which areas may be contributing most strongly to your study stress.

Note: This test is not a clinical, school, government, ATAR, university admission, or counselling assessment. It is designed for self-reflection and wellbeing awareness. If stress is strongly affecting your daily life, sleep, mood, or safety, consider speaking with a trusted adult or qualified professional.
